NOPE. Wrong.

Here are some things about Jake English I've noticed as a roleplayer.

For those who don't know Jake English very well, he's Jade Harley's pen pal grandson grandpa thingy in the Alpha verse. It's very evident and mentioned a few times that Jake is incredibly quirky and also prone to hitting his head a lot, which could be one cause of his quirkiness. Jake isn't just this dork who is like CERULEAN GIRLS CERULEAN GIRLS PUT YOUR COCK IN MY BUMHOLE A-YAHHH and neither is he this incredible smooth sex god with untapped suaveness that is somehow unleashed. He's still a dork, but he's a lovable and tolerable one... sort of.

Jake grew up on an island all by himself save for when he was about, oh, I theory about five or six when his grandmother passed away. This is the only contact Jake has had physically with another person. He also mentions he is too busy adventuring to Google things, so he is very naive of things and how they work. Very naive and oblivious, any hints from his live interests go right over his heads. He over analyzes the wrong things and just likes to make everything awkward for everyone.

Anyway, he's very back and forth with his feelings and really wishy-washy about almost everything. I'm just gonna leave these caps here for my on reference, but god, this kid really doesn't know who he is.

Even if Jake shows hints of nervousness when talking to Dirk, he confronts Jane first about their feelings. Jake always had his weird suspicions about Dirk liking him, so maybe he isn't as oblivious as he seems. Then again, Jake has his suspicions about Jane too. It's actually a psychological thing. Jake really likes people, and in exchange wants to be liked back, so he assumes they all really like him. This may be caused by his loneliness and need for company.

Alright, so Jake is a questioning individual.  Very wishy washy and back and forth and not quite sure with things. With that, I'm so done with his sexuality. Moving onto more important matters.

Although Jake is a gentleman, he's also very rambunctious. If he were met in real person, he probably wouldn't be as smooth as he perceives himself. And although he is clumsy (example: gets concussions a lot), keep note he also did this:

Very reckless and very loud. Skilled, too. I don't think I need to mention much on the fact he downright socked Meenah in the face. So yeah. Gentlemanly, but not too much. Over polite and kind would be better, but he's very feisty otherwise.

Sweet babies, look at that fierce face. And to a lady, too, when he's typically very cordial to them.

Anyway, I also just love Caliborn talking about him:

Jake also gets very, very flustered. Although he has an issue with filtering his thoughts or keeping his foot in his mouth, he does get very pissed off over the stupidest things. I will just use this example:

Also, he was really, really, reALLY excited about meeting John. Oh my god, this gets overlooked so much:

• Overly prepared (he needs five computers to feel prepared)

Odds and Ends:

• Doesn't like to read books besides comic books.
• Has a dead dream self.
• Has a deathly allergy to peanuts. 
• Favorite movie is Weekend at Bernie's.
• Favorite comic book is Spider-Girl.
• The guns he carries are Berettas.
• He has a puzzle modus, and keeps pieces of his exploded house in it since he is a packrat.
• Speaks like a jolly grandpa would, but uses young terms like "bro" and also makes up his own words.
• 

And his quirk is basically capitalize the first letter of a sentence and nothing more until after the period mark. Though he has some inconsistently, I usually do just this. He uses commas and a lot of period or question marks, asterisks and capitalization for emphasis, and seems to take n interest in roleplaying by putting actions in asterisks. Think of the most complicated thing to say something and if you sound like a fruitcake when you say it, you're doing it right:
