Like all Homestucks, Jake talks in a colorful courier font in a shade that can best be described as BRIGHT ASS BOOGER GREEN. (#1f9400) His typing quirk really isn't that hard on the eyes, thankfully, but for whatever reason, if you don't want him booger texting at you, just leave me a comment here.

He basically enjoys typing and rambling on and on with a rather interesting vocabulary and doesnt use apostrophes or commas and neither does he really like capitalizing after the first letter in a sentence but frankly i dont really blame him!!
Hes accustomed to using weird euphemisms and exclamations! Speaking of exclamation he will use exclamation points and period marks sometimes more than one to make his point.
Another thing would be *EMPHASIS!!* Jake has a tendency to emphasis SOMETIMES AN ENTIRE SENTENCE IN CAPS OR ASTERISKS OR BOTH.
He also does his share of roleplaying in asterisks but all you have to do is tell jake to stop and usually hes quite willing to *cleans off glasses with a kerchief.*

Jake also 4th walls sometimes. If you don't want him to recognize you, leave a note here as well!

The font is fine and so is the fourth-walling for Elissa on High Seas! Considering everyone there from Dragon Age is from a different storyline, it would explain so much. Hahaha!

And I think we've all slept with Isabela in our canons...
